Plagiarism is taking another author’s work or ideas and presenting them as your own (Oxford University, viewed 3 September 2020). Plagiarism is therefore academic fraud or academic theft and activities may include but not limited to:
- Buying online papers and submitting them as your own
- Paraphrasing ideas without giving credit to the original source
- Using quotations without citing
- Submitting someone’s work as your own
