On the 4th of July 2018, the deceased, a taxi driver reported for work at Proline Taxis, Bulawayo. He took out his motor vehicle, registration number ACL 8064 and went about his duties. He worked the whole day late into the night. That same evening he was hired by an unknown person and drove with his passenger along the Bulawayo-Matopo Road.
