This is an opposed court application for summary judgment. On 3 September 2020 the applicant instituted proceedings against the respondents by way of summons under case number HC 4806/20. The relationship between the applicant and respondents (the parties) in this case is regulated by a lease agreement signed on 25 January 2018. This is a civil trial. The plaintiff claims USD450 000-00 from the defendant. The amount is said to represent the replacement cost of an immovable property, and the improvements thereon, previously occupied by the plaintiff, but intentionally destroyed by the defendant.
