The two applicants who are being charged of the Criminal Law (Codification Reform) Act [Cap 9:23] approached the court through the legal practitioner of record on as application for bail pending trial. This is an application for bail pending trial. Applicant is charged with the crime of murder as defined in section 47(1) (a) of the Criminal Law [Codification and Reform] Act [Chapter 9:23]. It being alleged that on the 2nd June 2019 applicant hired the now deceased (deceased) person who was a sex worker. The two proceeded to Silver Sands Lodge in Bulawayo, at the lodge a misunderstanding ensued which degenerated into a fight. Applicant strangled the deceased resulting in her death and stole her cell phone. Applicant then stashed the body under the bed and fled from the scene. More

The appellant was employed by the respondent as an administrative clerk. During the period between 2 November 2015 and 20 November 2015 the appellant was tasked to stand in for a cash sales clerk who had proceeded on leave. It was alleged that, during that period the appellant failed to account for the sum of USD600.00 and ZAR 1730-00. He was arraigned before the disciplinary committee charged with theft. This is an appeal against the whole judgment of the Harare Magistrates Court (Civil) handed down on 1 March 2022 under Case number 1/22 which dismissed an application for mandament van spolie made by the Appellant against the respondents for illegally ousting Appellant from Stand number 13559 Manresa Mabvuku, Harare (the property).
